When you thought you’ve seen it all, think again. EDM fans are all oh-so-familiar with the countless and massive festival productions where nothing is left to the imagination. However, Darran Bruce, founder of ITV Live, is one of those few people who was able to bring a truly new and unique concept to the table. Years of experience in TV broadcasting and his love for nightlife led to the launch of ITV Live The DJ Sessions. The DJ Sessions broadcasts weekly from the new ITV Live studios and ON LOCATION IN THE WORLD’S FIRST MOBILE DJ STUDIO. The new season is in full effect with appearances that include DIRTYLOUD, Kyau & Albert, Funtcase, KUTSKI, Moguai and many more.
Bruce: “My first success came with Phantazmagoria on Fox in 2000. This show featured short films and independent artists and ultimately became my brand ITV. At one point, I felt the need to provide EDM artists with a platform for media coverage in a way that no one had ever done before. After three years of building and testing the design of our unique mobile DJ studio, I secured the investment. We finally launched at the massive Freaknight Festival in Seattle, October 2010. Thousands of party people witnessed how we interviewed international DJs from our truck which we streamed live on-site.”
Regular guests on ITV Live The DJ Sessions include Kyau & Albert, Darude, Randy Boyer, Paul Oakenfold and Sander Van Doorn. Yet, ITV Live is also a welcome platform for the up-and-comers. With over 400 hours of live recorded video streams, ITV proves a fun and informative destination for the EDM fan.
Residents for ITV Live The DJ Sessions include the live techno & acid duo Area 303, well dressed DJ Tassay, the always raging Bassrock, and often surprising Ivan Kruss.
